Wristlet Straps

Today, I want to talk about the all important wristlet strap.  Now, I know this seems like a minor accessory in the grand scheme of Jewell's handbags, scarves and belts but I think they are some of the most fun, transformational and economical ways to be fashionable and functional!  You can find out more about them (or even purchase one!) at my Jewell page.

Why do I love wristlets so much?  Well, in the spirit of how Alton Brown of FoodTV fame likes kitchen multi-tasking tools, I too like something that performs more than one function - enter the wristlet.

This is our Wristlet Strap.  It has a sturdy snap closure and one of our Jewell clasp on the end.  You can slip your keys on the strap it self easily (much better than trying to slip them on a jump ring - I always ruin a nail doing that).

Another great thing about our wristlet strap is the number of colors that it is available in.  Want to get a purse in a timeless color like Black Beauty or Midnight Sky?  Make it pop with a Palace of Jewells or Mni-Skirt Mondays wristlet.  Wristlets are fun and help add that pop of fashionable color to your everyday.

The other fabulous way to use a wristlet strap is on a wallet.  You can turn our All About the Benjamins or Rolling Jewell wallets into easy to carry clutches by attaching a wristlet strap!  This is one of my favorite things to do when I'm just running down from my office to get lunch or grabbing coffee.  The Rolling Jewell has a compartment for my cellphone which makes it even better!

What would life by without a little bling?  I will admit that I love sparkle and Jewell has two wristlet straps that fit the bill.  

The Beaded and Fabulous Wristlet Strap ~ $18

The Beaded and Fabulous Wristlet Strap was added to the Jewell line during the holiday season, but it deserves to be used long after the holidays are gone!  With the addition of a few sparkly gems to a sturdy but sophisticated chain, the Beaded and Fabulous helps you turn a clutch purse like the Scene Stealer (read more about it here) into a wristlet!

Our second sparkling wristlet is the Dazzle and Glitz.  The great thing about this glitz is it goes with every color in the Jewell pallet.  In the picture below our Miss Madrid clutch (read more about it here) is turned into a wristlet that you can easily keep track of with the addition of our Dazzle and Glitz wristlet.  It sales for $8 and I think i is one of our best deals!  And don't think that it's function is simply turning a clutch to a wristlet it also can keep track of your keys or attack to one of our wallets just like our standard wristlet strap!

4 Great Jewell Handbags

I thought I would give a run down about the purses on the 12 Days of Gifting - so here it goes!

Bryant P.

This is a traditional satchel purse - but with some Jewell twists!  It's pictured below with the addition of Statement Strap and a cute puppy!

It has a cell phone pocket on the outside for easy access.

It's most unique feature is the bottom compartment - good for a variety of things from power cords to baby wipes.  To get an idea of how much it can hold - I give you books, all 8 of them that easily fit in the Bryant P.

Inside the Bryant P. has two small pockets, but you can add pockets from our system as well.  Take a look inside

I would use The Diamond Zipper pocket on the other side to add function, and someplace to put your keys.

It doesn't come with a shoulder strap - but you can mix or match it with a statement strap to add this functionality.  It comes in 4 colors, and the putty is featured in the photos.

Young London

The Young London in a tote/handbag equipped with a enough space and compartments to carry you through your day organized.

It has a cell phone pocket on one-side just like the Bryant P.

And it has a zippered and two snap-closure compartments.  The zippered compartment will hold a 13" laptop or anything that needs a little padding (or you like to keep zipped up).  The other two compartments have small pockets like the Bryant P. and snaps for two of our pocket system inserts. This Handbag is very tall - measuring 15" at its apex.  It comes with a matching Statement Strap in four colors and is on sale for $96 (Reg. $160).

Fashion Games

This handbag is a traditional hobo - with the intentional slouch but with lots of room.

It has two pockets on the inside similar to the ones pictured in the Bryant P. as well as room for two of our patent pending pocket system inserts.  It does not zip.  Here'a look at some of the pocket options:

Wrigley

For our last day of the 12 Days of Gifting, Jewell offers up the Wrigley Café Bag on sale.  This small crossbody purse comes in a variety of fashionable colors.

It can be carried as a clutch, worn on the shoulder or as a cross body purse as well.  It has one pocket on the outside and inside has a zipper pocket and two credit card slots.  It is not big enough for our pocket system.  It is on sale for $34.80 (reg. $58)

Day 6 - Bryant P.

The Bryant P. is a satchel purse with a difference!  It has two different zipper compartments.  On the bottom of the bag is one rectangular compartment and on top of it is the traditional satchel purse.  Mom-on-the-go?  If you are out-and-about with baby and need to stick some wipes and a diaper someplace, the bottom section keeps them out of the main compartment of your purse.  Gadget-geek-on-the-go?  Put your power cords, hotspot or external hard drive in the bottom compartment where you won't lose them when you go to pay for your latte.  Girly-girl? the bottom section is the perfect place to stash your makeup or an extra pair of flats.

Day 7 - Rolling Jewel

The Rolling Jewel is a tech wallet designed to keep your cell phone and your cash close together.  You can add a wristlet strap and carry it when you are running in to get lunch or coffee.  My iPhone5 in a lifeproof case (smaller than an otter box case but bigger than most) fits but it is a tight squeeze.  It measure 5.75"L x 4"H x 1"D and comes in a variety of colors from classic to sophisticated to young and trendy.

Day 8 - Dare to be Seen

The Dare to be Scene is one of my favorite Jewell products!  It comes with three folders, but there are so many things to use this wonderful zipper pouch for!  If you are a teacher, like me, it will hold stacks of essay tests so you know where they are!  I'm ordering a second one to keep track of my promotional items from Jewell.  So, if you have papers you need to keep in one place and have them easy to find and carry with you - the Dare to be Scene just might be what you are looking for!  It measure 13.5"L x 10.75"H x 0.26"D and comes in a black, silver and gold python pattern. 

Day 9 - Young London

Young London is an amazing tote/handbag that is ready to carry your technology!  It has a center zipper pocket that is approximately 15" and will hold a 13" laptop or larger side tablet and keyboard.  There are two pockets on either side of the center zipper compartment that can help you keep your life organized.  It comes with a matching statement strap.
